Description
Pair of Leaning Meissenish Porcelain Figures of Male and Female
The male figure is dressed in classical attire, including a soft, patterned tunic adorned with floral motifs and a cape draped over one shoulder, finished with gladiator-style sandals that lace up his calves. His attire and stance suggest a theme inspired by antiquity, possibly representing a figure from Roman or Greek mythology.
The female figure complements the male with similarly styled classical garb, wearing a flowing gown richly decorated with colorful floral designs and a shoulder cape. Her attire is accessorized with a wide belt and sandals similar to those of the male figure.
