Ultimate Luxury Japanese / French Travel Case Art Deco Period Truly Inspired Leather Grooming Case or Travel Vanity
A wonderful fine quality and unusual Art Deco period black leather suitcase with a red quilted interior, brass lock plates, and studs. Within the interior is housed a variety of black lacquer-cased containers, Mirrors, Brushes, and other grooming accessories. The more you explore, the more hidden compartments you will find. When I thought I found it all, I discovered a desk pad with storage for pens and other desk accessories. Very well executed and interesting. We thought it might have been Japanese, but we are unsure of its origin. Perhaps the Japanese were inspired by the French. No Markings to point us in any direction.
