L.R Laffitte Watercolor on silk mounted on laid paper depicting Pancratium declinatum, signed in pencil at the bottom. Contemporary French artist L.R Laffitte, born in 1943, specializes in painting animals, birds, and flowers. Known for his regular use of watercolor, Laffitte has also explored oils on lacquered board in an art-deco style for some of his ‘big game’ works, adding a decorative approach to his art.
