C.A. Richard and Cie, around 1880, walnut, bronze, brass, metal, steel, and glass. Marked on the work with maker’s mark C.A. Richard & Cie. Profile base and rectangular body on four pressed ball feet with a glazed door on the front and back. Profiled, projecting cornice and roof-shaped crown with movable ornamental handle. Fine floral decoration in pyrography on all sides. Brass chapter ring engraved with Roman hour and Arabic minute numbers raised putti heads in the spandrels, and ornamental hands.
Measurement: 12 x 9 3/4 x 7 1/4 in. (30.5 x 24.8 x 18.4 cm.)
