Philippe Henri Noyer (1917-1985), a French artist, began his painting career in 1943 after discovering his talent for oil painting while working in Paris. Known for his portraits and surreal compositions, Noyer’s art combined classical technique with modernist and slightly surrealist themes.
His work gained recognition through a 1947 solo exhibition in Paris and later in the United States, leading to commissions from celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor. In the 1960s, he focused on painting stylized, elegant women.
