Circa 1820, an Austrian mahogany mantel clock with a carved gilt wood eagle finial raised on a mahogany case. The enamel and brass dial features Arabic numerals with a secondary date dial. The case has an arched pediment, applied brass decorations, lion mask handles, a mirrored lower back panel, and paw feet. The base is raised on stone feet. The clock has an unmarked time and gong strike movement. It is pictured on page 122 of Arpads & Schmidt’s "Az Ida Uria – Az Orak Nagykonyve."
Measurement: Overall 18 1/2" high x 10 3/4" wide x 5 3/4" deep.

Condition: Wear and minor abrasion to case and eagle commensurate with age. Replaced Pendulum.
