Dietz Edzard (German, 1893-1963). Titled "La Primadonna, " oil on canvas. The painting portrays a refined young woman dressed in an elegant off-shoulder gown, standing in a courtyard.
Signed ‘D Edzard’ (lower right). As well as 4 indistinct stamps (all on the stretcher); inscribed ‘La Primadonna 1961’ and ‘BALLERINE’ (by hand on the stretcher); titled, dated, and stamped indistinctly (on the reverse).
