The necklace is composed of cultured pearls interspersed with gadrooned 18k yellow gold and diamond motifs retaining a radiant motif with cut sides, centered with a natural sapphire cabochon weighing approximately 7 cts and origin likely Ceylon, in surrounds set with brilliant-cut diamonds supported by a line of calibrated rubies. The bail consists of a gadrooned pattern set with brilliant diamonds and a square-cut emerald with sharp corners.
