Artist Bio: Buthaud is considered one of the most accomplished and important French artists of the Art Deco movement and a significant ceramicist of the period. His works are part of collections at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, among others. Literature: Cruège, René Buthaud, see page 80.
