Narcisse Virgilio Diaz de la Pena, a renowned French artist of the Barbizon School, created this oil on canvas painting, which features a serene scene of a woman seated in a natural setting with a small dog by her side. Signed and dated "N. Diaz 60" in the lower right corner.

Condition: Over all the painting presents well. Minor evidence of in-painting. No evidence of relining. Loss to frame. Some of the frame have been re-glued.
