Dietz Edzard (German, 1893-1963). Titled "La Primadonna, " oil on canvas. The painting portrays a
young woman dressed in an elegant off-shoulder gown, standing in a courtyard.
Signed ‘D Edzard’ (lower right). As well as 4 indistinct stamps (all on the stretcher); inscribed ‘La Primadonna 1961’ and ‘BALLERINE’ (by hand on the stretcher); titled, dated, and stamped indistinctly (on the reverse).
Measurement: Art: 36 x 28 3/4 in. (91.4 x 73 cm.), Frame: 43 1/4 x 36 in. (109.9 x 91.4 cm.)
