Notably featured in Stephen Martin’s book on Archibald Knox and the Arts & Crafts Metalwork Exhibition catalog for Blackwell, the Arts & Crafts house in the Lake District (exhibit 99, page 25), this centerpiece represents the timeless appeal of Knox’s work. Liberty & Co., established in 1875, played a pivotal role in promoting Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts design.
