Empire period Jac Cressend. tripod jug crafted in 950 silver, featuring rooster title hallmarks and a Janus head guarantee from Paris, 1810-1819. The baluster-shaped jug stands on claw feet adorned with palmettes and fleurons. It includes a zoomorphic pouring spout, a palmette base, a hinged lid with a floral bud finial, and a swan’s neck handle made from ebony.
