18th-century school drawing depicting the biblical subject "Suzanna and the Elders, " executed in pencil.
Measurements: Image: 7.9 x 10.1 in. (20.1 x 25.7 cm.); Frame: 15 x 17.8 in. (38.1 x 45.2 cm.)
Provenance: from Christie’s sale titled "The Collection of S.A.R La Principessa Reale Maria Beatrice di Savoia" in London, on April 22, 2005. The drawing was part of the collection belonging to Royal Princess Maria Beatrice, the daughter of Italy’s last king.
