Finely cast bronze sculpture on a wooden base of “Diane de Gabies, ” depicting Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt. Signed Vauvray Freres on the base. After the classical statue attributed to Praxiteles, with the original housed in the Musee du Louvre, Paris.

Condition: Overall in good condition. Areas of oxidation and gilt loss. Some loss to wood base. Nice Patina.
