Old Master, European School – Trauernde Muttergottes (mourning mother of god). A similar piece hangs in Belvedere Palace (Vienna) and is dated 1750-1800. Artist Unknown.

Condition: It is labeled probable provenance.
( Isabella (blarisse?) Craqelure from age and dark canvas. The stretcher frame is labeled and covered with stickers. The nails on the stretcher frame are forged and studded.The painting has some damage from age.
