Provenance: Christie’s sale "The Collection of S.A.R La Principessa Reale Maria Beatrice di Savoia", London, April 22, 2005 Maria Beatrice, Princess of the house of Savoy and youngest daughter of the last king of Italy. The subject was possibly Suzanne-Henriette de Lorraine-Elbeuf, duchesse de Mantoue-Gonzague (1686-1710), who was a frequent subject.

Condition: Good quality, framing, and mounting. We removed it from the frame and found numerous illegible inscriptions in pencil on the back of the work.
