After some some time and research I am led to believe that the engraving that can be seen in the second photo was made later from this painting, in 1589 and is held in the collection of the National Gallery of Art.
This painting is not signed but in my OPINION it is the original and was discovered near The French Riviera and Monte Carlo, Principality of Monaco and it would date correctly to the period. Again, this is only my opinion.
