Large Ottoman Empire dagger or khanjar with a carved rock crystal hilt forming a turban, a gold-inlay curved Damascus blade with a double edge and central ridge, and an iron guard with quillons entirely chiseled with crosspiece decoration. One side of the guard is decorated with a tughra of a sultan, while the other side features the name of the prophet inscribed in calligraphy, surrounded by floral stems and scrolls inlaid and damascened with gold.
