An early 20th-century Art Nouveau firescreen featuring a carved wood frame with an intricately tooled leather panel. The leather insert displays a highly detailed embossed design depicting flowing water, a stylized sunburst, and a central figure (possibly a mermaid) in a naturalistic setting.
