Art nouveau belle epoch antique "Chimera" brooch-pendant in 18k gold yellow gold and 950‰ pure platinum, featuring a fantastic mythical winged animal holding a white button pearl in its mouth. French work, circa 1900. The wings are enhanced with rose-cut diamonds, and the eye is set with a cabochon ruby. Horse head hallmark, Departments, 1838-1919 (Lyon difference).
