Ornate Repousse early 19th century covered silver cup. Baluster-shaped covered cup on a silver pedestal with embossed decoration. The body is adorned with friezes of gadroons and shells, while the lid features acanthus friezes and a flower-shaped handle. Marked with Minerva hallmarks.

The piece is attributed to master goldsmith Jean François Veyrat, known for his expertise in table goldsmithing, who was active in Paris between 1832 and 1840. Later, his workshop became Maison Veyrat fils.
