Japanese incense burner from the late 19th century Meiji period, cast in chiseled and patinated bronze. Features low-relief panels with birds, flowering branches, and Japanese motifs. Topped with a finely cast finial of a mythical creature. Supported on pierced tripod base.
Measurements: 17 1/4 x 8 1/4 x 5 in. (43.8 x 21 x 12.7 cm.) approx
