Rembrandt Bugatti (1884–1916), after, finely cast bronze sculpture depicting a walking panther, finished in a nuanced green patina. Signed on base.

Rembrandt Bugatti was born into a family of artists—son of designer Carlo Bugatti, brother of automaker Ettore Bugatti, and nephew of painter Giovanni Segantini. He began sculpting animal forms at age 14 and exhibited widely, including at the Salon d’Automne. In 1907, he moved to Antwerp to study live animals, leading to the creation of his most emotive and observational bronzes.
