Important Gabriel Viardot French Orientalist fantasy display cabinet, circa 1900, inspired by Chinese and Japanese design. Crafted in wood with bronze mounts, the lower section features carved decoration and a door inset with a life scene. The upper portion has small display shelves, two behind a glass door, and is crowned by a boldly carved dragon. Retains original key.
