Japanese incense burner from the Meiji period, late 19th century, crafted in chiseled and patinated bronze. The body is decorated in low relief with birds, flowering branches, and stylized Japanese motifs. Supported on a pierced base with tripod legs.

Measurements: 13 3/4 x 8 1/2 x 6 1/4 in. (34.9 x 21.6 x 15.9 cm.) approx
