Hector Guimard (1867–1942) & Saint Dizier Foundry, green lacquered cast iron panel, circa 1900. An original architectural element in the Art Nouveau style. Guimard, a leading architect and designer, is renowned for his cast iron work and iconic entrances to the Paris Metro system.
