Auguste Roubille (1872–1955) impressionist oil on canvas painting depicting nude female bathers under dappled light in a wooded glade, titled Summer Shade. Signed lower right.
Roubille was a French painter, illustrator, and decorator, known for his contributions to leading magazines and exhibitions of the early 20th century, including the Salon des Indépendants, Salon d’Automne, and Salon des Humoristes.
