Marguerite Aers (b. 1918) Hot Summer Day, impressionist oil on canvas depicting three female bathers in a serene riverside scene. Signed lower left. Aers was active in Belgium and Paris, frequently exhibiting with her husband Jacques Geuëns during the 1950s–60s in the “Quartier des Arts.”
