Miklos Mihalovits (1888–1960), The Promenade. Oil painting on cardboard, signed lower right. Depicts two women walking in a wooded garden path, rendered in a softly atmospheric style with impressionist influence.

Provenance: Private collection, Athens.

Mihalovits studied at the Higher School of Applied Arts and the Benczur-Master School in Budapest. A founding member of the Hungarian National Salon, he drew inspiration from early travels in Italy and Germany. His works often blend naturalism with modernist romanticism.
