Art Nouveau polychrome enameled stoneware plaque The Hours designed by Eugène Grasset and ceramic casting by Emile Muller & Cie, circa 1895. Six female figures personifying the months float amid stylized clouds; circular reserve at top intended for a clock insert. Signed lower left for Muller; monogram “G” lower right for Grasset. Émile Muller & Cie collaborated with renowned artists like Eugène Grasset, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and Hector Guimard, among others, to create decorative and architectural pieces.
