Empire style Napoleon III period desk clock in gilded and chiseled bronze, featuring a sphinx figure supporting a lyre surmounted by an eagle with outstretched wings. The circular white enamel dial is adorned with Roman numerals. The piece rests on a rectangular veined green marble base.

Overall good condition. Some areas of patina and minor surface wear to the gilding. The marble base has light signs of wear but remains structurally sound. The enamel dial is intact with minor surface imperfections. The clock mechanism has not been tested for functionality.
