Summary:

Robert Falcucci, oil painting on canvas, signed in the lower right. Falcucci was born in 1900 and died in 1982. Falcucci is best known for his graphic design work as a poster artist, with many of his works appearing in Vogue, Omnia, Automobilia, Fémina, and le Illustration magazines. In 1927, Robert left Renault’s design studios to join those of the famous couturier Paul Poiret in 1928. In the early 1930s, the artist excelled at designing posters for major automobile events such as the Monaco Grand-Prix and the Monte Carlo Automobile Rally.
