Summary:
Pair of Sevres-style baluster urns with domed covers, France, circa 1890. Each shows hand-painted romantic courting couples in pastoral settings within gilt scroll cartouches and a yellow-ground shoulder. Mounted with scrolling acanthus handles and gilt bronze (ormolu) bases and collars embellished with champlevé/cloisonné enamel bands; covers with matching finials.
