W. A. Baum & Co., New York Model 300 mercury sphygmomanometer for measuring blood pressure, housed in its fitted carrying case with cuff, tubing, and inflation bulb. An early to mid-20th century medical diagnostic instrument from the Endicott, New York office or clinic of Dr. Robert R. McCormick and Nurse Marguerite Marie Trainor-McCormick.
Wear to the case and carrying cover consistent with age and use. Rubber tubes to be replaced. Canvas wrap with fraying, losses, and wear to the leather tabs.
