Urbain Viguier group of nine Romantic genre and landscape scenes in pastel on paper. Each depicting figures in outdoor settings including a love scene, brawl in a square, young girl at prayer, hunters in the forest, and bathing in the woods. The works are signed and dated 1849 and are assembled together within a single textured gilt mount and frame, with individual openings for each composition.
Attractive presentation with rich color and good detail to the pastel drawings. expected wear, including small nicks, rubbing, and minor losses to the gilt and textured surface. Not examined out of frame.
