Summary:
Amazing approx 30" across the diagonal, Japanese Meiji period enamel charger of lobed square form featuring a central floral arrangement with chrysanthemum blossoms and butterflies set against a pink ground. The border decorated with repeating geometric and floral motifs, with a contrasting blue enamel underside displaying scrolling patterns. Retains original metal support frame to the reverse. Circa late 19th to early 20th century.
Measurement: 3 1/4 x 22 x 22 in. (8.3 x 55.9 x 55.9 cm.) approx 31" on the diagonal
