James Ensor, signed surrealist expressionist figural watercolor painting with pencil and ink on paper depicting a nude female figure accompanied by a distorted, mask-like companion. Late 19th to early 20th centuries. Signed lower right. This is one of those works that should be researchedd by someone who studied this artist to understand and relate it in context with the total body of the artist’s work.
