Summary:
Group of four 19th century Russian Orthodox devotional icons of various subjects and styles. Includes a painted icon of Saint Tryphon depicted against a gilt ground; an icon depicting a monastic saint beside a Russian Orthodox monastery or church complex with an image of the Virgin and Child above; a dark-toned icon depicting a haloed saint holding a decorated Gospel book; and an icon of the Virgin and Christ Child fitted with an embossed metal riza or oklad and radiating gilt halo.

Painted on wood panels, with the group displaying varying techniques, devotional imagery, surface finishes and degrees of age-related wear.
