Summary:
Joan Miro (Spanish, 1893–1983), Personnage et Oiseaux (Figure and Birds), 1965 color pochoir print based on an earlier 1963 design. Abstract composition featuring Miró’s characteristic biomorphic forms and bold black linear elements accented with areas of red, blue, green, yellow, and white. Signed lower left.

Accompanying label identifies the work as a 1965 pochoir published by Pierre Matisse Gallery in an edition of 1,200, based on an earlier 1963 design. Label numbered ’18’ and inscribed with the date ’12-2-1963.’ Presented framed and matted under glass.
