Joan Miró (Spanish, 1893–1983), Femme et Oiseaux la Nuit, color pochoir print on paper. Signed ‘Miró’ lower left. According to the verso label, the work was produced in 1965 based on earlier 1963 designs and published by Pierre Matisse Gallery in an edition of 1,200.

The composition features Miró’s characteristic biomorphic and abstract forms with bold black linear elements accented in red, green, blue, yellow, and violet.

Verso label identifies the work and lists provenance including Pierre Matisse Gallery and Adele E. Shepard.
