Narcisse Virgilio Diaz de la Pena (French, 1807–1876). Oil on panel depicting Diana, goddess of the hunt, with her attendants and a cherub preparing to depart for the hunt. Signed ‘N. Diaz’ lower right; retains ‘N. DIAZ’ frame plaque. With areas of paint loss and restoration.
