Georg Christian Hilker (Danish, 1807–1875). Oil on canvas depicting King Solomon receiving the Queen of Sheba in a palace courtyard with attendants. Signed and dated ‘May 1864’ on the verso; verso also inscribed ‘King Solomon receiving the Queen of Sheba’. With some minor restorations.
