Summary:
Japanese Meiji bronze vases, signed. Decorated with roosters perched on flowering plum branches, executed in contrasting mixed-metal tones against a warm gilt ground. Rounded/ovoid bodies with short necks and flared rims. One vase shows an incised Japanese character mark to the side.
