Summary:
Collection of four yellow blown art glass vessels, including two marked examples attributed to Erik Höglund (Swedish, 1932–1998) for Boda Glasbruk, Sweden. The group includes a large sculptural vase with wide cylindrical mouth and pronounced horizontal ribs, a tall bottle-form vase with flared rim, a smaller bottle-form vase, and a handled pitcher with applied glass handle and pouring spout.
Two pieces bear engraved or inscribed Boda/Erik Höglund-style model markings, including ‘H 1775/25’ and ‘H 1735/30.’ The H-number designation is consistent with documented Erik Höglund glass for Boda Glasbruk; for comparison, another documented Boda vase by Höglund bears the closely related designation ‘H 1775/120.’
Erik Höglund was a major figure in postwar Scandinavian glass design, closely associated with Boda Glasbruk and known for expressive forms that departed from the restrained conventions of traditional Swedish glass.
