Konrad Cramer (American/German, 1888–1963) modernist figure study watercolor on paper. The composition depicts a standing figure viewed primarily from behind, rendered with loose, expressive linear marks and areas of softly worked brown pigment. Stamped on the verso with an oval ‘KONRAD CRAMER / WOODSTOCK, N.Y.’ studio mark.
