Summary:
Rare Camille Fauré signed enameled copper lidded vase. Decorated with a deep ruby red enamel ground embellished with raised floral motifs in shades of pink, lavender, yellow, and green, accented by dark leaf forms outlined in gilt. The surface exhibits the richly textured, layered enamel work characteristic of Fauré’s Limoges atelier. Signed near the base “C. Fauré, Limoges, France.” Fitted with a bronze rim, lid mount, and circular metal base. Art Deco period, early 20th century.
