Summary:
Henri Le Fauconnier (French, 1881–1946). Watercolor and gouache on paper depicting a young woman in a rust-colored dress holding a book, with a blue swan and flowers behind her. Signed ‘Le F’ at right center. Titled ‘Jeune fille au cygne’ on a paper label affixed to the backing board (No. 18).
Bio: Henri Le Fauconnier was a French painter associated with the Cubist movement, known for his portraits and figural compositions.
